Here Safely!
Hey, all, I'm here safely! No problems with customs or visas or anything. A Mercy Corps driver met me at the airport and drove me to the "guest house," which is a nice apartment in a not-so-nice-looking building. (Pics to come soon.) It's a 2-bed, 1-bath place with wood floors and clean white walls--very nice, very clean. Part of the time, I'll share the apt. w/ 2 other people, and most of the time, I'll have it to myself. Am about to head off for a shower and beddie bye. Miss you guys! More from me soon w/ pics!

Congratulations, Rebecca! I miss you already, but am so excited for what you'll be able to learn and accomplish this summer. Keep that Husky spirit with ya in Kyrgyzstan!
My Dear, Sweet Rebecca,
I am so glad you made it there with God's grace and protection!! How was the flight...besides long? I can hardly wait to "see" you (in pictures) over there.
Welp, have fun, and tell me all about it.
Love you always and forever,
Mama
Hey, Rebecca! So glad to hear you had a good trip and are settling in. I tell you, I woke up Tuesday morning all nervous like I was the one flying to Bishkek! Look forward to reading your blog throughout the summer.
