Tony and I are packing up for our Thailand trip. Heidi is taking us to the airport tomorrow at 11 a.m., and we are almost completely packed. Just the last few things for our carryons: iPods, passports, little details like that. :-) We leave tomorrow and fly for a couple days before reaching Phuket. From the time we leave to the time we get back, it's 20 days. Wheee! We're taking swimsuits, shorts, and sundresses (for me, not Tony), and it is so wonderful not to pack scarves, jackets, or sweaters. It's 57 degrees in Seattle right now. Ugh.
Speaking of weather, we've been checking the weather for Phuket and are all worried b/c everything says "thunderstorms, thunderstorms." But when we read people's personal blogs or the travel ad websites it says that there's a 10 minute to 2 hour rain every day and sunshine the rest of the day. Sites like weather.com just say thunderstorms. Hmmm. After this miserably gray, gray, gray and cold spring in Seattle, we are really hoping for some sunshine. We'll keep you posted...
